ACCEPT YOUR WORTH!

There is a book titled Love Your 84000 Hours at Work by Andrew Harrison. In this book Andrew endeavors to seek out people with purpose and fulfillment. He presents questions such as;

What do you do?

How did you get there?

Are you happy where you are?

This book inspired me to seek out people along their journey who have found their own life purpose.

Nancy Beach was kind enough to sit down with me and share her story. She is a Business Owner and a Marketer. Her primary purpose is helping people help themselves.

In her own words she is an Advocate for seniors and people with disabilities who suffer from emotional or physical distress. She offers assisted living services to her clients that allow them to remain in their current residence with their loved ones.  Tragic experience with loved ones, whom she cared for until their passing, led her to reach out and help other families cope.

“Are you happy with where you are? Why?”

She responds with “I am happier than I’ve ever been!”

“Because, what I do makes a difference in the lives of my clients.  Sometimes, what I do, helps to prolong their life.”

“What would you do differently?” I asked.

“I would stop getting in my own way. I always question my decisions.

She explains, the before this became a business, she volunteered her services and was reluctant to accept compensation in the beginning. Nancy has always put people first and that is what led her to where she is today.

“Don’t question what feels right, just take a chance, it just may reward you 10 fold.  Accept that you are worth more than you’ll ever know!”

Blind Trust

Have you ever heard the terms, Trust in God, Trust in the Universe or Trust in the process? I have heard those phrases in various forms all of my life. At an early age it was hard for me to trust in some abstract concept. Whatever you believe, trust in the unfolding of life is crucial to your personal growth.

Consider the use of a bicycle. Looking at this deice on two wheels that cannot stand with out support, almost seems impossible to think of t traveling on something that unsteady. We gradually learn that the momentum of the wheels keeps us balanced and moving in the direction of our own choosing. In order for this to occur, one must place complete trust in the pedaling process in order to gain the momentum for the sustained balance.

So too, must you as the individual trust in the process of performing one single act toward your ultimate goal. Continue to act until you gain the desired momentum, to move in the direction of your choosing.

Learn the Process,
Trust the Process,
Choose a Destination.
Remember that Happiness is the Journey!
